Working Out Is Not Like Doing Your Taxes

It comes once a year and it always seems to get put off until the last minute. You swear that you will never do it again, but alas, it is the last minute tax crunch. Unfortunately, working out is not like taxes. It is not something that you can get away with cramming in at the last minute and only focus on once a year.

Sporadic workouts done with great intensity are a sure way to land you with an injury, not to mention mediocre health and fitness. So what is the solution?

A better work out program?
Plyometrics and periodic training?
Better exercise equipment?
Personal Trainer?

All of those things can help, but the key is consistency. No matter how great your plan, club, training, etc, is; it is quickly undermined by inconsistency. One month of working out, followed by eleven months of sitting on your butt, spells disaster.

The first key to being consistent is enjoying the process. Now enjoying doing your taxes is a stretch, but enjoying working out is possible. If you want the results working out can bring you, it is going to have to become a habit like brushing your teeth. You don&8217;t have to love doing it, but you better make sure you don&8217;t hate it.

The first step to turn working out into a habit is realizing that working out needs to be habit. It&8217;s not just an inconvenience you push through to finally allow you to fit into those one size smaller jeans.

To be healthy and to keep your body running smoothly, you are going to have to maintain some type of consistent workout plan and the good news is that you get to choose the plan. Knowing that working out is something you need to be doing the rest of your life, why not make it enjoyable?

There is also a very powerful physiological effect that happens when you turn working out into a habit. By committing to the new healthier lifestyle, you start to remove internal sabotage. If you are fighting to get to the gym, doing a work out you hate, just to lose weight or get to a fitness level, there will always be a voice of doubt in your head. Everyday you will have to fight that voice and it will eventually win.

By committing to working out consistently, the voice of doubt eventually disappears. No longer are you on a mad push to get to that perfect fitness goal. You are committed to working out and enjoying the process which eventually also brings you that fitness goal.

All of a sudden, not working out will feel funny. You will crave the consistency of taking the steps that makes your body feel great. No longer will working out be a &8220;have to&8221;, it will become a &8220;get to.&8221;
The act of following a consistent workout plan will become the habit and the target of that plan, will be the goal you are striving for. Whether you achieve your goal, have a set back, or decide on a different goal, your underlying motivation of consistently following a workout plan will never change. This allows consistently working out to become a habit, even though, the specifics of what you do, changes.

You have to work out consistently to keep you body running at its best and you have to do taxes. You might not like taxes, but if you make working out a habit you enjoy, you will end up keeping it the rest of your life.

We all want a weight loss program that works!

According to several reports taken in the recent past, America has a high obesity rate. The reports show that almost 60 of Americas population suffers from either overweight or obesity problems. America is not the only country facing such problems. Britain too is plagued by the very same problem. According to reports in Britain one out of every 10 children are cursed with the very same problem. This problem is not common only to America or Britain, however the percentage of obesity or overweight people in these countries are alarming. We are soon becoming a nation that is very unfit and filled with fat obese people. Due to the rise in obesity nation wide, diet plans have been blossoming all over.

There are dozens of diet plans that are being made available to everyone. There are low carbohydrate diets, low protein diets etc and many more. Inspite of all these diets out there, we are still fat and are getting even fatter. There are so many diets out there that it is honestly very confusing.

There are many people who genuinely want to lose weight and are not sure how to go about it. All these diets have got them wondering which one to try out.

For those who are earnestly seeking weight loss and wanting to see results there is one such program that I personally recommend Fat loss 4 idiots. This diet really does work. It is very unlike most of the diets youve heard of before. This diet even offers you a good explanation for why you lose weight when you are on the diet. It is simple and easy to understand. The diet states that your body will burn as many calories as you take in. so if you take in about 2800 calories, you will also automatically burn 2800 calories. Your metabolism automatically adjusts to whatever you take in. thats just how our system works and is meant to work.

Low carbohydrate diets too are very popular but these diets are a bit hard to follow. These diets are best only if followed to the T. The problem with low carbohydrate diets is that during the diet you feel very tired, this is because you are robbed of carbohydrates which produces energy.

Diets are not supposed to treat food as the enemy. Food can never be our enemy. You can eat your favorite food and still lose weight. Just so you know, our brain controls the release of 2 fat burning hormones and these two hormones are controlled by the food that we consume. These 2 hormones are essential in the burning and storage of fat in our body.

Fat loss 4 idiots is just making sure that everyone is educated everyone and trying to help them make sensible decisions regarding their eating habits. They not only educate but also provide you with a diet that will help you lose weight in a healthy manner without causing your body any harm.

Your Body, the Missing Link to Knowing Your Creator

In a world full of sacred texts and differing opinions, how do you know which one is correct? And it doesn&8217;t just stop there with choosing the correct sacred text. You can have one sacred text and hundreds of interpretations on how it is supposed to be followed, let alone all the other sacred texts.

So, which text is right and how is it really supposed to be followed? Well, this article has nothing to do with that question. Instead, it deals with something that is almost always over looked, but a lot closer to home. It&8217;s your physical body.

There is a raging war about which sacred text is the right one and how it is really supposed to be followed, but I don&8217;t think any are claiming that our bodies are not the creations of God. Please forgive the trespass if God is not the word you use for your higher power. For the convenience of writing this article, when you see the word God or other similar words, please substitute the appropriate word to provide meaning to you.

Think about the vulnerability of text. It can be changed, manipulated, and interpreted in many ways, but how many human forgeries do we have out of the 6 billion people on the planet? How many humans do we have that are in horses, cats, or dogs bodies? How about trees that are humans? From my count, I come up with zero. There is something sacred about the human body.

I agree that it is your soul, life force, spirit, etc, that makes the human body alive and magical, but why does this magic only show up in the human body? Animals and plants are alive but they are different. Obviously God choose the human form for a specific reason.

Our bodies are a gift from God while we are alive on this planet. All that we experience happens through our bodies. You have it your whole life and it is not like you can go down to the store and pick up a new one. What you think, eat, and do, affects your body which then affects what you experience.

The part of the world you are born into greatly influences the type of religions and sacred texts you will be exposed to. The one thing, however, that is constant across the world, is the human body. There is no illusion that it comes from God and that there are laws in place that affect the body. These laws are universal and affect the body independently of the religion the person follows.

God gave us all bodies and set down laws that govern these bodies. Now the human body is mostly the same, but there are differences in sizes, shapes, skin color, etc. Do you think that is a mistake? God got it wrong? Is everyone supposed to be the same and his manufacturing process is off?

I don&8217;t think so. We were given our specific body by God for a specific reason. Now, he also put in place the laws on how the body is to be used. Certain things make the body run great and other things are destructive to the body. Why is that? Why choose only the human body, make sure everyone gets one that is very similar, and then have laws about what make it work great, what makes it work poorly, or what kills it?

Now, I am not knocking sacred text in any manner or under shadowing their importance. I am just bringing to light that your body is without a doubt, 100 authentic from God, and it has specific laws on how it should be treated. I urge you to build the habits that sustain and make your body thrive.

Habits such as proper rest, exercise, eating right, and proper mental food are universal principles that affect the body in a positive manner. Of course anything taken to excess or abused can be damaging. God gave you your body with an internal guidance system to follow. Finding out the specifics of what works best for your body is a quest that will surely bring you closer to what God designed for your life. I wish you well on your quest where ever it may take you.

Getting Your Family Into Fitness

Getting and staying in shape is important for you – but your workouts may be more important for your family. The reason your family is inexorably drawn to follow your fitness example – for good or bad. How you manage your personal fitness and nutrition has a ripple effect that spreads across your entire family.

Your personal ripple effect may be one of the most powerful forces shaping your family’s mental and physical future. Consider the following

We are products of our environment. We gravitate toward what we are repeatedly exposed to. It’s a simple matter of repetition. The more we see, hear, use, or eat something the more it becomes ingrained in our psyche. In fact, social scientists believe environmental repetition may have an effect on gene expression and can literally change your biochemistry.

The power of suggestion is strong. The power of repeated suggestion is practically unstoppable. So if youre making poor fitness and nutrition choices at any age, its likely your family will be making the same choices shortly.

When Junior sees Dad parked in front of the tube and digging into a bag of chips, it’s hard to resist the same lifestyle. And chunky Mom, plus chunky Dad, often equals chunky kids.

The evidence is compelling. Your example, your behavior, your habits are being absorbed by your family at warp speed. The secret is making it a blessing instead of a curse.

Its never too early or too late to start. In the research center,
my staff and I see the impact that consistently exposing people to a healthy lifestyle has on individuals. As people mature, they embrace exercise as a natural, fun part of their lives.

You have the power to influence the health and fitness of every person in your family your children, your spouse, your siblings, your parents — and even your friends. The fitness habits you help them build will keep serving them in every area of their life. I can think of no better gift to give people than the gift of health.

But here’s the secret…

You absolutely must lead by example. Never “tell” a person what they should do, just keep living a healthy life in a tight lean body, and people will instinctively gravitate to you and learn from your examples.

The process for some “hard-headed” folks might be a bit slower, but they’ll come along once they see how much more fun you’re having in your new body than they could ever hope to have unless they pick up the pace and learn from your example.

So how do you do it? Its a day-to-day process and a series of
repeated small steps that add up to awesome health habits. Every time you choose the vegetables over the chips, a walk over a drive, and an active game over T.V., youve just made another donation to yourself and to your families lifetime health and fitness fund.

Its your personal ripple effect in action
